SYSTEM FOR INJECTING LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS

PURPOSE: An LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) injecting system is provided to reduce leakage of fuel by filling a fuel pipe with fuel gas through reverse rotation of an engine in stopping an engine, and to decrease starting time by increasing the liquid fuel amount in the fuel pipe in starting. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine supplies fuel to an injector(15) by pumping liquid fuel from a fuel tank(11) with a fuel pump(13). A fuel distributor pipe(14) supplies fuel to the injector, a regulator(17) adjusts pressure, and a check valve prevents counter flow. A bypass pipe(19) is installed in the rear part of the fuel distributor pipe to bypass the regulator and the check valve, and a bypass valve(20) is formed in the bypass pipe to switch the direction of fuel flow. Leakage is minimized by charging fuel gas in the fuel pipe with reversing the fuel pump in stopping the engine, and fuel efficiency is improved by reducing starting time with increasing liquid fuel in starting.
