PURPOSE: A color filter substrate, a fabricating method thereof, and a semi-transmissive liquid crystal display device having the color filter substrate are provided to form color filters on transmission mode areas with a thickness smaller than color filters on reflection mode areas for making the light experiencing the color filters uniformly, thereby realizing uniform color sensation from the two areas. CONSTITUTION: A semi-transmissive liquid crystal display device includes a color filter substrate(600) formed with color filters(130) on pixel areas with different thickness per display mode(R,T), and a thin film transistor substrate(400) formed on the pixel areas and having pixel electrodes including transparent electrodes(82) formed of a transparent conductive material and a reflection film(92) having transmission windows on opening parts, and thin film transistors electrically connected to the pixel electrodes.
