<p>Meter has fraud indicating system (12,13,14,16) which includes an inverted T part (14) fixed in an aperture (12) formed in wall (8) by a butt stop (15,16). A part of the inverted T projects into aperture (12) in direction of an upper wall (9) of accumulator. The accumulator has an inclined plane, under the aperture, oriented in direction of the gear train. Fraud detector for a fluid flow meter comprises a meter body fitted with a fluid flow measuring system, an accumulator mounted on the meter body having in its upper part a display for consumed quantity of fluid and in its lower part a converter. The converter is designed to convert fluid flow into quantity of fluid consumed. A fraud indicating system (12,14,15,16) is linked to the upper part. A part (14) of the fraud indicating system, visible from the exterior of the accumulator, is designed to detach itself or deform itself in an irreversible way from the upper part so as to totally block the operation of the converter when an attempt is made to interfere with the meter. An Independent claim is also included for a fraud detection method.</p> |
