APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING CUT STATE OF CABLE

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for determining a cut state of a cable are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by exchanging selectively only cut cables. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second fixing blocks(20a,20b) are installed at both sides of a cable(10) in order to fix the cable(10). A flat cable is mainly used as the cable(10). The flat cable(10) includes a plurality of electric wire portions(10a) and a binder(10b) for binding the plural electric wire portions(10a). The electric wire portion(10a) is formed with a conductive line and a coating material for coating the conductive line. Other circuit blocks are connected with the conductive lines of the electric wire portions(10a) by exposing the conductive lines of a side portion of the binder(10b) are exposed. The first and the second fixing blocks(20a,20b) includes a connection portion(21) and a bar(22) for fixing the connection portion(21), respectively. The first fixing block(20a) is connected with a switch group(30). The switch(30) includes a plurality of switches(31a-31h) connected with the connection portion(21) of the first fixing block(20a). A resistance meter(40) is installed between the switch group(30) and the second fixing block(20b).
