PURPOSE: A side button device of a mobile communication terminal is provided to add a locking lever for preventing side buttons from being pressed, as slidingly moving upward and downward between the side buttons and tact switches, thereby preventing the tact switches from being wrongly operated because the side buttons are unnecessarily pressed. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second side buttons(11a,11b) are protruded upward and downward from a side position of a terminal case(10). An additional side button(13) is protruded to a lower side of the second side button(11b). A pressing projector(12) is formed in back directions of the first and the second side buttons(11a,11b). Tact switches(14) form a contact terminal(15) contacted with the pressing projector(12) of the first and the second side buttons(11a,11b). The tact switches(14) are mounted in a circuit board(16). A locking lever(100) is formed between the first and the second side buttons(11a,11b) and the tact switches(14), to prevent the pressing projector(12) of the first and the second side buttons(11a,11b) from being contacted with the contact terminal(15). One end of the locking lever(100) is bent at 90 degrees, to be protruded to a lever control ball formed in the terminal case(10). The pressing projector(12) is taken out from the locking lever(100), forming a take-out ball(101) contacted with the contact terminal(15).
