<p>A colour filter comprises a transmission area (8) and reflection area (7) in which at least one colour pixel of red, green and blue pixels is formed of the same material, wherein at least one transparent sub-area (10,12) having no colour layer is formed in a part of the reflection area, and the size of the sub-area (12) is 20 mu m<2> or more and 2000 mu m<2> or less. The present invention also provides a liquid crystal display including such a colour filter.</p> |
