PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing unit which is constituted of a UV lamp and an optical deodorizing filter and can efficiently deodorize. SOLUTION: This deodorizing unit is equipped with a UV irradiating lamp and an optical catalyst filter formed of a vent hole tilted against the UV incoming face. A flat type UV irradiating lamp is used and the illuminating face thereof is faced against the incoming face.
