<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent stitch skipping which tends to occur immediately after starting the operation of the sewing machine by surely catching/drawing a needle thread 1 by the thread engaging part 30 of a thread take-up lever 28 even immediately after the operation of a sewing machine. SOLUTION: Since an operator recognizes that the thread engaging part 30 of the thread take-up lever 28 is positioned on the left side of the thread insertion opening 7 of a thread guide plate 5 near an approach route start point 38 by the display of a display device 77, after the needle thread take-up lever 28 is moved to a position to light the display of the display device 77 (after an arm shaft 57 operating the thread take-up lever 28 is rotated), the needle thread is hooked and the sewing machine is operated thereafter. Thus, the needle thread 1 is surely caught/drawn by the thread engaging part 30 of the thread take-up lever 28 even immediately after starting the operation of the sewing machine.</p> |
