摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the agitation performance of an agitator of such a type that a turbine is rotated in a stator. SOLUTION: Blades 2c and a turbine 2 having a turbine side porous plate 6 welded to the turbine 2 are fixed to the lower end of a rotary shaft 4, a stator 3 having a turbine chamber 3c and a stator side porous plate 7 are fixed in superimposed state to the lower end of a fixing rod 5 so that a slight gap 8 is formed between the porous plates 6 and 7. When the turbine 2 is rotated at a high speed, a liquid L to be treated is energized by the turbine 2, flows in the direction of an arrow A and blows out in the direction of an arrow B. At this time, a high degree of agitation is attained in a short time because the liquid L to be treated is first agitated by the turbine 2, then split by the porous plate 6, exposed to shear action with a high speed generated by relative rotation of the porous plates 6 and 7 in the gap 8, thereby, violently agitated, split by the porous plate 7, and mixed with the liquid to be treated in the tank, and because the agitation action is carried out circularly and agitation action caused by flowage in the tank is also generated.
