PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning spool for fishing, having a built-in false return preventing device which has good operability for return from a fishline- unwinding position to a fishline-winding position and further has stable tension- holding power (stiffness-holding power) in the fishline-unwinding position of a bail. SOLUTION: In this spinning reel for fishing, a bail 7 and a bail support member 9 having a fishline guide part 10 are symmetrically held on the front of a support arm 3a of a rotor 3 which is rotated by being interlocked with operation of a handle, so that the bail support member 9 is turned over between the fishline-winding position and the fishline-unwinding position. Further, the sinning reel has a turnover member 30, wherein the turnover member 30 is moved by being interlocked with turnover operation of the bail support member 9 from the fishline-winding position to the fishline-unwinding position, and further has an elastically-deformable brake block 30c. The brake block 30c is made to touch to a brake area 2b formed at the front of a reel main body 2, when the bail support member 9 is turned over from the fishline-winding position to the fishline-unwinding position.
