FIELD: construction engineering, particularly, manufacture of various parts of buildings and other structures. SUBSTANCE: multipurpose building member is rectangular in shape from reinforced cellular concrete with average density within 600 kg/cu.m. It is reinforced with space truss. It consists of lateral and cross trusses whose chords are ending in loops extending into hollows, for instance, of curved section in zones of ribs of building member. It has variatropic macrostructure in which density of cellular concrete near one, two, three or four surfaces is of maximum value reaching 800-1200 kg/cu.m, and as central zone of member is approached, density smoothly reduces without sharp transition boundaries to 200-400 kg/cu.m.
