PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the objective information about a nucleic acid can simply and accurately be recovered from a sample substance in a short time. SOLUTION: This method is to obtain first information about the nucleic acid from an individual exposed to a specific disease and second information about a nucleic acid from a pathogenic microorganism present in the individual and the pathogenic microorganism is related to the specific disease and has the following. (a) reacting an extract of the nucleic acid from the individual with a probe immobilizing substrate having a first probe and a second probe wherein the first probe detects the presence of a specific nucleic acid sequence of the pathogenic microorganism, the pathogenic microorganism is related to the specific disease and the second probe detects the presence of the specific nucleic acid in the individual and (b) obtaining the first information by, if present, detecting the presence of the nucleic acid ligated with the first probe and obtaining the second information by, if present, detecting the presence of the nucleic acid ligated with the second probe. |
