PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which achieves a substantial comfortable touch of hitting and highly excellent resilience. SOLUTION: This golf ball comprises a heat-molded matter formed from a rubber composition produced by mixing 100 pts. mass of a rubber base material into which are compounded (a) 20 to 100 mass% of a polybutadiene that has cis-1,4 bonds at a rate of 60% or more and 1,2-vinyl bonds at a rate of 2% or less to satisfy a relation of 10×B+5<=A<=10×B+60 when the viscosityη(mPa.s) of a 5 mass% toluene solution thereof is 600 or less and Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 (100 deg.C)) is represented by A while the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) is represented by B and (b) 0 to 80 mass% of diene based rubber other than the (a) component with each a specified amount of (c) an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a metal salt thereof, (d) an organic sulfur compound, (e) an inorganic filler and (f) an organic peroxide.
|
