SUBSTANCE: microwave heterodyne detector designed for detection, identification, and condition inspection of biologic objects has biodetector that functions as detector of microwave radiation from biologic objects and at the same time as discriminator of intermediate frequency at which waves are excited in its ionized gas medium by means of microwave heterodyne. Intermittent-periodic operating mode of heterodyne enables discrimination of useful information from biodetector output signal by means of frequency filtration.
