PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for a vehicle capable of effectively suppressing the shake of a vehicle body such as rolling and pitching without degrading comfortableness. SOLUTION: Shock absorbers 10A, 10B and springs 20A, 20B are interposed in pairs between a vehicle body 1 and axles 3A, 3B of left and right wheels 2A, 2B. The left and right shock absorbers 10A, 10B are connected by pipelines 4, 5 so that a piston upper chamber 14 on one side and a piston lower chamber 15 on the other side communicate with each other. The springs 20A, 20B are constituted as seat adjustable type springs that change the height of seats 22 supporting coil springs 23. When the vehicle body 1 inclines onto one side, oil pressure in the piston lower chamber 15 of the shock absorber 10A or 10B on the sinking side of the vehicle body 1 is supplied into an oil chamber 24 of the spring 20A or 20B forming a pair with the shock absorber. The height of the seat 22 is thereby heightened to raise the vehicle height on the sinking side.
