PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing a seat from coming off the car body, capable of bearing large seat belt tension load in a simple constitution to prevent the seat from coming off the car body. SOLUTION: A seat for a tow or three wheeled vehicle is provided with a seat belt formed by placing a cushion material on a bottom plate and covering the same with a surface material. In this device, a stay seat 30 is connected to the bottom plate, and a stay seat bearing surface 41 of a car body side bracket 40 having a connecting part of the car body side and the stay seat bearing surface 41, and the stay seat 30 abut to each other to thereby prevent the seat from coming off the car body due to the seat belt tension load. A hole 34 as an engaging means is formed in the stay seat 30, and a projection 44 as an engaging means engaged with the hole 34 is formed in the car body bracket 40, whereby when a load is applied to the seat in the separating direction, the respective engaging means 34, 44 of the stay seat 30 and the car body side bracket 40 are engaged with each other to prevent the seat from being detached.
