PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throat plate structure in a multiple needle interlock stitch machine, capable of cutting a sewing thread end extremely short and obtaining a high quality sewn cloth by cutting a sewing thread at the end of sewing at the position of a needle hole. SOLUTION: The throat plate structure of the sewing machine is constituted of the respective needle eyes where a plurality of parallelly arranged sewing machine needles vertically move, a fixed pawl positioned between grooves respectively continuing to the needle eyes and formed toward a cloth send-out side, and a movable pawl arranged on the lower side of the fixed pawl to be slid. An upper blade is disposed on the neck part of the fixed pawl, a lower blade is disposed on the movable pawl and the function of sliding the movable pawl and cutting the sewing thread after sewing is provided. By cutting the sewing thread at the position of the needle eye, the sewing thread end is cut extremely short, the useless time and labor of cutting the long thread end of a stitch very time as before are omitted and large contribution to he improvement of sewing efficiency and the improvement of the quality of a sewn item is made.
