PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device for rice fields that can achieve efficient water supply to each cultivation section and can certainly inhibit the earth and sand from flowing back to the pipe line on the water supply side. SOLUTION: The valve seat 25 that is set to the top end opening of the water-feeding pipe 20 connected to the pipe line 19 on the water feeding side and stands upright in the perpendicular direction, the valve body 26 that opens and closes the valve seat as it moves in the axis line direction of the water- feeding pipe and the water-feeding valve 16 equipped with the operation part for opening and closing the valve body 26 are received in the water-feeding box 15 having the water outlet for delivering water to the cultivation sections 14. The back flow inhibitor (the upper cylindrical body) 31 is supported so that it may be movable in the vertical direction by the guide member (lower cylindrical body 30) attached to the outer periphery to form the back flow- inhibiting weir 17 so as to surround the outer periphery of the water-feeding valve 16 water-tightly. In addition, the uprising end of the upper edge of the back flow inhibitor 31 is set higher than the usual water level of the rice field.
