PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device with which foreign matters contained in a fluid and having sizes of >=30μm can be captured and thereby the generation of troubles in an air conditioner can be prevented. SOLUTION: In a cylindrical strainer 14, a protective layer 14b of about 100 mesh, a filter layer 14a of about 1,000 mesh, a protective layer 14c of about 100 mesh, a first supporting layer 14d of about 60 mesh, and a second supporting layer 14e of about 28 mesh are arranged from the inner side in this order. The filter layer 14a is formed from a sintered material of a wire-netting formed by twill mat weaving and the particles having particle sizes of >=30μm can be captured by the filter layer 14a. Each layer is made of a sintered material of an integrated wire-netting.
