PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of suppressing the thermal deformation of a machine body with simple constitution. SOLUTION: Heat outside of a second cover 26 is insulated by an air layer in a closed space 30 formed between a first cover 24 covering the outside of the machine body of the machine tool 10, and the second cover 26 airtightly mounted to the first cover 24.
