PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic washing method capable of making it easy to transmit ultrasonic waves to an object to be washed such as ferrules or the like being a finely perforated part to certainly wash the object to be washed in a short time, and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The object to be washed is loosely fitted to be set in each of the setting holes of a setting instrument having a plurality of setting holes opened on the upper surface side thereof and the setting instrument, to which the object to be washed is set, is arranged so that the opening side thereof is turned downward in a state covered with a vibration plate. The object to be washed is received by the vibration plate so as to be prevented from falling off from each of the setting holes of the setting instrument, and the vibration plate and the object to be washed are immersed in a washing liquid to apply ultrasonic waves to the vibration plate.
