PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for ink jet recording whereby high-quality images can be always recorded by maintaining an ink pressure in a recording head to be an optimum pressure. SOLUTION: The ink pressure in the recording head 100 is detected by a pressure sensor 710. A pressure pump 704 is controlled on the basis of the detected ink pressure, whereby the ink pressure in the recording head 100 is adjusted to a size so that the recording quality of images is maintained. |
