PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show a person that a touch is observed by a robot. SOLUTION: Shoulder joints 30R and 30L, upper arms 32R and 32L, forearms 36R and 36L, and the like are provided with touch sensors. When a person touches a shoulder or an arm, the touch sensor in the touched place is set on. A neck joint 40 is then controlled to displace a head part 42 so that it looks at the place where the touch sensor is on or the place that the person touches.
