PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a surface of a toilet lid from being damaged by hitting against a casing, which supports a toilet seat and the toilet lid to swing, when the toilet seat and the toilet lid are put upright. SOLUTION: A holding part which supports a toilet seat 5 and a toilet lid 6 by the same shaft in a manner that they can rotate is equipped. When the toilet seat 5 and the toilet lid 6 are put upright, the ends at the back of the toilet seat 5 and the toilet lid 6 are designed to make contact with a place where the holding part is attached, and the toilet seat 5 and the toilet lid 6 are held not to lean toward the casing 2a more than a predetermined angle. As a result, the toilet seat 5 and the toilet lid 6 are kept upright, while avoiding their extra movements to the back.
