PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool with a long life which can improve durability by relaxing a rotation impact force at a speed reduction mechanism part. SOLUTION: In a power tool having a body trunk part, a handle part, a motor as a driving source at the body trunk part, a speed reduction mechanism part for transmitting a rotational power of the motor and a mechanism part for transmitting a rotational power of the speed reduction mechanism part to a tip-end tool, the speed reduction mechanism part has a fixed gear having gears on its inner circumference and a fixed gear supporting member for holding the fixed gear, a projection part extending to the motor side is provided on the side of the fixed gear to be engaged with a hole part provided on the supporting member, and an impact relaxing material is provided at the hole part.
