PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for defoaming for liquid surface, with which bubbles floating on the surface of a liquid in a closed flexible vessel can be defoamed. SOLUTION: The bubbles present on the surface of the liquid in the flexible vessel 1 are defoamed by deforming and increasing the inner pressure of the flexible vessel 1 by using a means, such as a holding conveyer 9, capable of pressurizing the flexible vessel 1 from the outside. It is also possible to defoam by a means comprising pressurizing the flexible vessel 1, and then reducing the pressure in the vessel 1 or reducing the pressure in the vessel 1 in place of the pressurization.
