PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that umbrella gore cannot be bunched with a tie closure in a double folding umbrella since the tie closure is disposed inside of the umbrella when the umbrella is folded down, while the gore can be bunched by binding with the tie closure as it is in a non-folding type umbrella and a triple folding type umbrella since the tie closure is disposed outside when closed, among the umbrellas whose ribs are non-folding, double folding, and triple folding types. SOLUTION: The umbrella sheet of the double folding umbrella is formed with an incision 6 with a band-wide length, and the sliding tie closure 1 is made slidable so as to be used both on outside and inside surfaces of the umbrella, so that the bunching band can be utilized both when the umbrella is closed or folded down. Buttons 5 for hooking the tie closure are mounted each on the outside same position in addition to the inside position in a conventional double folding type umbrella. Though it is worried about that raindrops might come in through the incision of the gore, the raindrops do not directly fall down from the incision since the sliding tie closure is passed through the incision of the gore. The tie closure does not hang down inside the umbrella and touch the user's neck.
