FIELD: axial-flow fans; operation of such fans and protection of personnel against action of air flow in horizontal plane by turning entire flow through 75 to 90 deg. SUBSTANCE: in turning, entire fan is thrown into atmosphere directly after completion of turn. Outlet unit of axial-flow fan includes horizontal diffuser and blade system mounted at its outlet. Blade system consists of set of blades bent over surface of cylinder; convex part is directed downward along straight line forming angle of 60 to 75 deg. with diffuser axis.
