FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat engine is made in form of drum with end face walls mounted on shaft at angle relative to each other and length changing members stretched between walls. Said members change their length at changing of temperature. Members are located between side walls of two cylinders which, in their turn, are provided with ports for delivering and removing heating and cooling media. Slot between cylinders is divided by partitions into two longitudinal sections communicating with ports. EFFECT: improved reliability in operation. 7 cl, 2 dwg
