PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide disintegrating media which are spherical disintegrating media and have excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: The disintegrating media consist of a sintered zirconia compact containing 2.0 to 4.0 mol% Y2 O3 and the size of the pores existing within the disintegrating media is <=100 μm. The size of the pores existing within the disintegrating media consisting of the sintered zirconia compact containing 2.0 to 4.0 mol% Y2 O3 is <=10% of the diameter of the disintegrating media. |
