PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer case controllable through a digital data bus so for providing synchronized shift capacity from low speed to high speed in a vehicle adopting a controller area network(CAN). SOLUTION: The transfer case 28 is provided with an input shaft 5; an output shaft 40; a gear set 48 selectively operable to transmit torque between the input shaft 50 and the output shaft 40 in deceleration; a clutch 84; an actuator 100 with a rotation output part operatively connected to the clutch 84; and a control device 200 for computing the speed of the actuator 100 when the actuator moves the clutch 84 into the neutral position.
