PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection compression-molding method by which a multi-cavity molding of lens can be performed rapidly and efficiently under a simple device construction. SOLUTION: A mold with a plurality of cavities is closed, then a specified pressure is applied to a movable half-side core of each of the cavities and thereby these cores are moved forward to the parting line side. Further, each of the cavities is filled with a molten resin through a hot runner provided in each of the cavities, then the movable half-side core is moved backward in accordance with the specified pressure following the filling of the resin, while the position of the movable half-side core in each of the cavities is individually detected and a gate corresponding to each of the cavities is completely closed when the movable half-side cores reach their respectively decided positions per cavity. After that, the tips of the movable half-side cores are made to advance into the cavities corresponding to the former respectively, then an operation to increase the intracavity pressure to a specified value is independently performed per cavity and a molded product is unloaded after the lapse of a specified cooling time. |
