PURPOSE: Provided is a method for supplying water by vacuum and hot water of a medical small-sized high pressure steam sterilizer to reduce time required to supply and heat water. CONSTITUTION: The method includes providing a heating device(5) in a first chamber(1) of a steam sterilizer. The heating device(5) maintains a temperature of water contained in the first chamber(1) at room temperature or higher. Therefore, it is possible to reduce time required to heat water supplied to a second chamber(3) to a sterilizing temperature of 121 to 135 deg.C. The water is supplied from the first chamber(1) to the second chamber(3) by making the second chamber(3) vacuous and releasing the vacuum so that water contained in the first chamber(1) is rapidly supplied to the second chamber(3). |
