PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive color development recording label which prevents a thermosensitive color developing layer from being viewed or scanned from its front surface after this layer is made to thermosensitively develop colors. SOLUTION: This thermosensitive color development recording label 10 includes a base material 12 which has transparency, the thermsensitive color developing layer 14 which is formed on the surface of the base material 12, a hiding layer 16 which is formed on the surface the thermosensitive color developing layer 14 and an adhesive layer 18 which is formed on the rear surface of the base material 12 and has the transparency. The base material 12 consists of a transparent film or sheet or film- or sheet-like material and the adhesive layer 18 is formed by applying an adhesive of a repeeling type. The thermosensitive color development recording label is so formed that the base material 12, the thermosensitive color developing layer 14, the hiding layer 16 and the adhesive layer 18 are all peeled together on the rear surface of the adhesive layer 18 and the thermosensitive color developing layer 14 can be viewed and/or scanned through the peeled base material 12 and adhesive layer 18.
