PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress resonator loss due to low which is caused by a defective coating of an optical part of a solid-state laser. SOLUTION: The solid-state laser comprises, in a resonator, optical parts, such as Nd:YAG crystal 14 where a light transmission end surface is provided with a coat for controlling the reflectivity, a wavelength conversion element 16, a wavelength control element 18, and a resonator mirror 15. Within a region in which laser beam 20 of an optical part passes, the density of defective coating of 5μm or larger is set to be 100 pieces/mm<2> or smaller.
