PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set with a reduced main body space. SOLUTION: A telephone set 1 includes a handset 2 having a transmitter and a receiver 2a, 2b, a stand 30 for disposing the handset 2 in a vertical position, and a telephone set main body 10 externally having a push-button operation unit 21 and internally having an operation substrate 25. The telephone set main body 10 is provided with a concave 11 of a flat surface for holding the operation substrate 25, so that the concave 11 can receive a depression pressure transmitted from the push-button operation unit 21 to the operation substrate 25. Further, on the flat surface of the concave 11, a plurality of small protrusions 11a are disposed to hold the operation substrate 25.
