PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice answering device that facilitates design/ management of a job flow defining a voice answering service and suitably executes a voice reply and makes a call with respect to an incoming call at the same time. SOLUTION: The voice answering device sequentially executes a response processing to a plurality of incoming calls (voice response processing means), selects lines used for transmission of transmission jobs when the voice response processing is attended with the transmission jobs in the reverse sequence to the sequence of lines sequentially assigned to a plurality of the incoming calls (transmission line selection means), and executed the transmission of the transmission jobs by using the selected line when the line scheduled assigned at least to a succeeding transmission call is idle (transmission processing means). Further, the voice response device controls an exchange 6 to set the lines used for the transmission as transmission exclusive lines and releases the set condition for exclusive transmission when the transmission is finished.
