PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precision equipment housing case that can surely hermetically seal precision equipment without using any rubber-made sealing member. SOLUTION: The precision equipment 1 is hermetically sealed by closely adhering the bottom section 13b of a recessed groove 13 formed on a lid body 12 to the hermetically sealing surface 11a of the main body 11 of this housing case by press-contacting the bottom section 13b with the surface 11a. Since no rubber-made sealing member nor adhesive is required, the contamination caused by gas components volatized from a rubber-made sealing member and adhesive does not occur. Since the bottom section 13a is formed to have a thin thickness so that the section 13a may be deformed elastically, the hermetically sealed degree of the equipment 1 can be improved by surely closely adhering the bottom section 13a to the hermetically sealing surface 11a of the main body 11. Since the recessed groove 13 of the lid body 12 can be press-formed integrally with the lid 12 in addition to the disuse of any sealing member, adhesive, etc., the manufacturing cost of this housing case 10 can be reduced.
