PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide EL light-emitting device, in which connection work can be made easily and a short circuit of an opposite electrode and a transparent electrode can be prevented surely. SOLUTION: It has an EL element 1 and a flexible cable 12, and this EL element 1 and the flexible cable 12 are connected to a conductive adhesive 18 at the backside of this EL element 1. A cover sheet 17 is stuck so that a circumference part of an overlapped position with the EL element 1 and the flexible cable 12 may be covered at the back of the flexible cable 12.
