PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform design, manufacture, operation/maintenance of application software. SOLUTION: In this software operation support system, it is provided with a log design GUI tool 40 in which specification of log components, information regarding format of a log file in which log information is stored and mounting procedures of the log components and analysis producers of the log information are inputted, a log related component generation engine 41 to automatically generate information regarding classes of the log components to be used, a specification in which the mounting procedures of the log components are described and a procedure manual in which the analysis procedures of the log information is described on the basis of the information inputted to the tool 40 and a log analysis GUI tool 42 to analyze the log information stored in the log file based on the information regarding the classes of the log components to be used and the procedure manual in which the analysis procedures of the log information are described, which are automatically generated by the log related component generation engine 41.
