摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily provide a good modified electrode having a large work function, which can be processed at a relatively low temperature and can be prepared simply and safely by not using a noble metal but by using metal conductor of small thin-film forming energy and an organic compound which possesses metallic conductivity. SOLUTION: This modified electrode, together with the method of modifying the electrode, comprises a thin film containing tetrathiafulvalene- tetracyanoquinodimethane complex, formed on a surface of a conductor having a small work function. Solar cells, organic EL elements, or transistors having this modified electrode can be mass-produced at low cost, and consequently contribute to industrial productivity.</p>
