PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system for battery, which can rationally charge a battery. SOLUTION: The charging system for battery, which charges a battery 210 using a commercial power supply 310, comprises a charging terminal device 400, which intermittently supply power from the commercial power supply to the battery, and a charging control agency 500, which controls the charging terminal device; and at least either of the battery side and the charging terminal device has a communication means 230 or 450, to communicate with the charging control agency. An identification code of the battery side is transmitted to the charging control agency, and the charging control agency, upon confirming the identification code, allows charging to the battery by controlling the charging terminal device.
