PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the diffusivity of a conductive filler in a high polymer PTC element, having a constitution that electrodes that are arranged on both surfaces of a sheet formed by molding a high polymer PTC composition prepared by diffusing the conductive filler in a crystalline high polymer can bye improved, using a simple method. SOLUTION: Part of the conductive filler is replaced with acicular or flat powder, having conductivity and ferromagnetism and the sheet is molded in a magnetic field. Since the ferromagnetic conducive filler is oriented in the magnetic field due to its shape anisotropy, the filler is uniformly diffused in the sheet, and accordingly, the overall conductive filler can also be diffused uniformed in the sheet.
