PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method which can mount a mask structure 1 to an inner magnet shield 5 without hindrance, even if the frame shield 52 of an internal magnetic shield 5 of a CRT is deformed and bent inward. SOLUTION: When the mask structure 1 is fitted to the internal magnetic shield 5, the frame shield 52 is widened by using rod-like members 63a, 63b, 63c and 63d, or vacuum suction members 73a, 73b, 74a and 74b, or electromagnets 83a, 83b, 84a and 84b.
