PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of sound quality, to eliminate unnecessary electric power consumption and to ameliorate unnecessary radiation. SOLUTION: The speech reproducing device having a signal receiving function to receive broadcasting signals and a speech signal processing function to process the speech signals from speech reproducing apparatus is constituted to cut a power source of the signal receiving function when there is no need to process the receiving signals.
