1,135,750. Endless conveyers. BETEILIGUNGS - UND PATENTVERWALTUNGS G.m.b.H. 21 Feb., 1967 [22 Feb., 1966], No. 8129/67. Heading B8A. A sharp body in the load passing from a feed hopper 2 on to a conveyer belt 1 which penetrates the belt, engages between supporting rollers 3, 4 and thereby deflects cables 8, 8. These act against springs 13 (which may be pre-tensioned) to operate switches 10, 10, to stop the belt 1. The switches 10, 10, may operate with a time delay. The springs 13, 13, may be replaced by weights, or by bars which fracture under a pre-determined load. There may be sets of different numbers of rollers instead of the triple sets 4, 3, 4, as shown. The cables 8 may be joined by a yoke to a single spring 13. |
