SOLUTION: A data access system for accessing data in its own system 4A and data in the other system 4B is provided with a local access means 5a for accessing data 10a and 10b in its own system 4A and a remote access means 6a which obtains the name of the data in the other system 4B from the name of the data in its own system 4A based on data name conversion information obtained by coordinating the name of data in its own system 4A and the name of the data in the other system 4B and which accesses data 11a and 11b in the other system 4B by utilizing the local access means 5b of the other system 4B based on the name of data in the other system 4B.
