PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig head capable of positioning the center of flare glasses so as not to deviate from the mechanical center, even if the flare glasses have various outside diameters, and also provide a manufacturing method of bulb using the jig head. SOLUTION: In this jig head, a chuck 6 which holds a flare glass 2 for positioning it consists of a chuck 6a, contacting with the flare glass at two points and a chuck 6b contacting with the flare glass at one point, and the chuck 6a and the chuck 6b supported with respective fulcrums 6ac, 6bc open or close to the opposite directions with same angles. Here, if Z is the distance between the fulcrum 6ac and a support 11, X is the distance between the fulcrum 6bc and the support 11, and if the respective normal lines of flare glass support faces 9a, 9b intersect with each other at an angleθ, the relation X=Z×cos(θ/2) holds.
