POWER SUPPLY DEVICE CAPABLE OF POWER LINE COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: A power supply device capable of a PLC(Power Line Communication) is provided to measure the state of a device through a power line and easily maintain a power portion of a large server device by installing a PLC modem in an empty space of a power supply by one body. CONSTITUTION: A line coupling network(21) is composed in a power supply circuit unit(20) for filtering an external communication signal transmitted through a receptacle(11). An RS232 socket(13) is composed in a power supply case(10) for communicating with a PC or peripheral device through an RS232 port. A PLC modem(30) has a transient amplifier(31) for amplifying the communication signal provided through the line coupling network(21), and a serial communication interface(32) for converting the amplified communication signal into a signal capable of being recognized in the PC or peripheral device and transmitting the converted signal through the RS232 socket(13).
