METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of air conditioner is provided to prevent life reduction of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the steps of: a first step(S10,S20) measuring indoor temperature and comparing with desired temperature; a second step(S40) driving a compressor when the indoor temperature exceeds the desired temperature; a third step(S50) determining whether time has passed since starting of the compressor over fixed time; and a fourth step returning to the first step when the fixed time has passed. The compressor is forcibly driven for the fixed time after starting thereby.
